Lois Covington Fuchs

                                                                   

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Lois is a pastel artist living in London, Ontario, Canada. She has worked in soft pastels for more that 40 years, and has a "midlife crisis" degree in painting and                                                                                               printmaking. She is drawn to realism and the basic truth of form in space; for her this means the living figure, either people or animals.  With any living                                                                                                         form, she feels challenged to portray the essence of that form with the expressions that reflect its unique character. She has been painting people and animals for                                                                                           over 30 years, and her work is in private collections in the US and Canada
